2nd Annual Breathe for Bea Coed 4’s Volleyball Tourney

Recap: We’d like to thank everyone who came out to the 2nd Annual Breathe for Bea Volleyball Tournament! We had a great turnout and the event was a big success. Be sure to check out our recap of the event, as well as some photos from the day!
In honor of our beautiful family member and friend Ashely “Bea” Briggs, we will be holding the 2nd Annual Breathe for Bea Coed 4’s Volleyball Tourney on August 18th, 2018. Please us join us in celebrating her incredible spirit and love for the game, and to help raise funds for the Breathe for Bea Foundation. All funds raised at the event – from the tourney fee, to raffles, food and shirt sales – will go towards achieving our mission of helping individuals with Cystic Fibrosis, as well as families who have a loved one with CF to care for, fight this disease. We had an incredible turnout at last year’s tournament, so please help us make this year’s even more successful!
The fun will take place at the Ted Williams Camp, close to the Loon Pond Lodge, which is located at 28 Precinct Street in Lakeville, MA. The tournament will take place rain or shine, and will be in Ashley’s favorite format – coed 4’s (2 guys & 2 girls), splitting the day on both men’s and women’s nets.
The cost to enter the tourney is $125 per team. The first 15 teams to pre-pay will be locked in! If you would like to register a team, please contact us at [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook. Team Beastrong member Curtis Velazquez will be organizing the tournament and running it the day of, and you may pay the team registration fee to him via PayPal using this link https://www.paypal.me/Curtisv115, or via Venmo (Curtis Velazquez). If you participate in Curtis’ volleyball league, you may drop off cash to him then. If you’d like to mail a check, send Curtis or the Breathe for Bea Foundation a message on Facebook and we will provide you with an address to mail a check. Registration begins at 8 AM, and play begins at 9 AM.
Please leave your lunch at home! We will be grilling it up good for a small price halfway through the day. Snacks, Gatorades and water will also be available. All proceeds go towards the Foundation. There will also be a raffle so be sure to pick up some raffle tickets for a chance at fun prizes! Last year we had some really amazing gift baskets and raffle items, and this year will be no different! Lastly, make sure to wear your BLUE to the event, which was Ashley’s favorite color. We’re looking forward to seeing you all there for an amazing day!
