May 5, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pmFree
Recap: We’d like to thank everyone who joined Team Beastrong this year for the Great Strides Walk, and supported the Breathe for Bea Foundation! Be sure to check out our recap of the event, as well as our photo gallery!
Have anything planned for Saturday, May 5, 2018? Why not join Team Beastrong at the Great Strides Walk in Sandwich, Massachusetts! We walk to honor the life of Ashley “Bea” Briggs and to help to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to raise awareness for this awful disease and someday find a cure.
The Breathe for Bea Foundation has created a team and would love to have you join us! Please visit our team page and click the Join Our Team button at the top to register. It’s free to walk, but donations are encouraged to help raise funds for the CF Foundation and it’s cause. You can make a personal donation when you join our team, donate to an existing team member (whether you choose to walk with us or not), or you can donate directly to the event if you aren’t able to join us on the walk. Or, if you’d like, you can make a donation to the Breathe for Bea Foundation. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to walk with us, come on down to the event anyways and support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Team Beastrong! Together we can make a difference.
Additional Walk Details: Check-in is at 10:00 AM and the walk begins at 11:00 AM. Distance is 3 miles.
More about the Great Strides Walk: Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event. Each year, more than 125,000 people participate in hundreds of walks in nearly 500 locations across the country to support the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe. Great Strides provides a fantastic opportunity for families, friends, students and colleagues to come together to make a difference in the lives of people with CF. Funds raised from these walks help to accelerate innovative research and drug development, as well as advance care and advocacy, so that people with CF can live longer, healthier lives and pursue their dreams.
